Get to Know Us
We are a mother (Jan) daughter (Liz) team that absolutely love our babies. We have an in-home Maine Coon cattery located in Trenton, Michigan — our kittens are adopted throughout all of the United States.
We feature European and Championship bloodlines, focused first and foremost on health and longevity. We are registered with both TICA & CFA, actively showing with CFA.
My extensive knowledge in the medical and pharmaceutical industry is a great advantage. Whether it's an incubator or an oxygen chamber, we always have what is needed to give our kittens the best start in life.
My mother Jan is the backbone of our cattery. She continually strives to research, calculate and improve our raw recipe and ratios to make sure that what we are putting into our cats/kittens is the most beneficial for optimal growth and health.
How It All Began
It all began over 20 years ago with a girl and her passion for cats. The moment I welcomed my first Maine Coon into my life, I was captivated. Some pets leave a lasting impression, and I realized this breed was meant for me.
In 1997, I acquired my first pure Maine Coon — unlike any cat I had known: intelligent, affectionate, healthy, and deeply bonded to me. At six years old, he was diagnosed with HCM after our vet detected a murmur. Thanks to early intervention with two medications, he experienced no progression and lived a joyful life until the age of 19.
That experience shaped everything about how we breed today — health comes first, always.

Our kitten came to us very well socialized; her personality is just amazing, and she is so funny and crazy and at the same time so affectionate and eating the best diet in the world for an obligate carnivore. Liz is an awesome breeder and definitely does such a great job raising and preparing the kittens to go home. I recently adopted a Maine Coon from her. He is such a good boy, a talker, and is a mamma's boy big time. Sometime in the near future I will be coming back for another kitty.

I had a fantastic experience with ReallyCoons while adopting my Maine Coon kitten January 2024. From the moment I contacted them to inquire about available kittens, to the day I brought my new kitten home. Everything was superb.
Elizabeth was incredibly knowledgeable about the Maine Coon breed and took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. She was transparent about their breeding practices and provided valuable advice on caring for my kitten.

I adopted Blizzard from ReallyCoons less than a year ago. He is a white Maine Coon that was microchipped, neutered, and vaccinated before I ever brought him home. I saw the results of both parents echocardiograms and have a health certificate on him. Since the day I picked him out Liz sent me constant photos and videos of my boy keeping me updated on his physical and social progress. He has acclimated to my house with his kitty brother and sisters very smoothly, gets along with the 3 of them like he has always been here. Liz is always available to answer questions and provide assistance if I need it. He is by far the most healthy and well adapted cat I've ever gotten. Liz was amazing to work with! The cats that she raises not only are amazing representation of the breed but have the best personalities! When we were inquiring about our first cat from her she recommended Cinder (black smoke) based upon what we were looking for. And she was sooo right! So right in fact we later asked about my dream cat (a white fluffy cat) and we waited a couple months. When my dream cat was born Liz put her heart and soul into taking care of him! We are so thankful as he has such an adventurous spirit. Anyone would be lucky to have a cat from ReallyCoons Cattery.
